Flex States (2024)

This album documents various states of speed, resistance, viscosity, and recoil within a networked system– pushed and pulled through feedback processes, and navigated through listening.

The limited set of "ensemble players" is propelled, flexed, warped, and spun, throughout the album. Causal connections between events become obscured, creating iridescent emergent properties.

All of the sounds were crafted using PureData and recorded "live to tape". The various tracks can be played in any order you like. The "Full Flex Uncut" track is just all of the tracks with zero breaks, and documents my "performance".
